This is Day 4 of our Norwegian Coastal Voyage and we are very excited as we are crossing the Arctic Circle today and with lots of luck, may see the Northern Lights. On our sail along the picturesque coast of Helgeland we were amazed at the incredible islands and coastline that lead us into the beautiful town of Bodo. At first look we saw much snow, lovely homes with lights that twinkled in the windows and it all appeared just like a postcard picture.

After a fabulous day of sailing it was time to have dinner, get cameras and go on deck to wait and see if the Northern Lights would appear. And they did so everyone was so excited to see them as that is one of the reasons for this magnificent Bentours Journey. A very late night on the deck but well worth the experience. Early the next day, we were out on deck in the cold being treated to the Crossing the Arctic Ceremony. The brave ones lined up and received the ice block treatment down their backs as this is a welcome to the Arctic Circle on the Trolljford..
