Our next stop was to see the Auschwitz- Birkenau State Museum and walk the grounds to learn about the plight of the
Jews sent to these Nazi Concentration Camps. Looking at the entrance and the railway line that transported so many people to their
demise brought many mixed emotions to us all. This place is a reminder of times gone by, and that it should never happen again. A very
enlightening visit that brought history out of books for us to understand. Very moving and the pictures may show a little more of the
events that happened here.
