Belfast City

Belfast City is a bright, bustling place with many places to go and much to see. Our hotel was located centrally in the Cathedral Quarter and made it so easy to get about. Many restaurants, shops and places of interest were within walking distance. The River Lagan was not far and the Albert Bridge crossed over to the other side. The Albert Memorial Clock sat very near the bridge and the Beacon of Hope Statue and the Big Fish nearby gave some inkling to the heritage of the city.

The Town Hall had free tours and there was much to see. The Titanic heritage was very much on show and even a desk from the ship that never made it on board was there. The architecture in the building was beautiful and the marble stairs and balastrades something to see.
