Brisbane and the Whitsundays, Australia

Our first port of call after one day at sea was Brisbane. We docked very early in the Grain
Terminal area some 20 minutes from the city. It didn't take long to disembark and we were pleasantly surprised to
know that a free shuttle transfer was available for us to take. As we were still in Australia - and recovering from
the challenge and excitement of starting our holiday, we decided to just do a bit of shopping for essentials
and take a quick look about before returning to the ship. Meeting some of the other passengers was a great highlight to
the day...The day was very overcast and quite muggy so a swim back on board looked very inviting!

Another sea day and then we sailed through the Whitsundays. Early in the morning we began
to see some of the beautiful islands as we passed through this exquisite part of Australia. Everyone
was out on deck even though again it was very cloudy but as the day wore on a small piece of sun
came out and made the views even more spectacular.
