This morning we disembarked the Solstice for the last time on this journey and waited in line for a taxi to take us to our hotel, The Aqua Palms Waikiki on Ala Moana Boulevarde. The ride into the hotel didn't seem to take too long and after arrival and check in, dropped our luggage and off for a walk. We are opposite the beach and the Hilton Hawaiin Village and so the water is just a walk across the road away. Ala Moana Shopping Centre is just up the road and so we are happy with our location and all. Home for the next few days!

There are so many hotels here and they all seem to be skyscrapers and all look fabulous! The roads are good and its so very clean around where we are. The lagoon across at the Hilton Hawaiin Village and everyone can swim or play or sunbaked or go to the beach and lay in the sand. Great place to be in the lovely weather.

A day out at the Showgrounds Markets proved to be a bit of a challenge as the local bus was crowded and we weren't quite sure where we were going. However we made it and found some interesting items to buy.The next coach trip showed us a little of Honolulu and its suburbs as well as the Presidential Palace and official Government buildings. Good to see whats around and we enjoyed the trip.
