Wayan is taking us to see his family home that is way away up in the hills on the way to the Safari Park. Quite a long, entertaining
trip as we all chatted and had fun. Wayan arranged for his friend to have a car as well as there was too many of us for one. The township he lives in is
spread out and Wayan's house is in the main street. His brother and sister-in-law live there at the moment as someone has to reside in the house
at all times according to Balinese Law. We were surprised at how spacious the house and grounds were and they even have a couple of pigs. We had
coffee and cake and loved chatting about the area and culture of the town. After checking out the garden time to maven and Wayan suggested we go
to a nearby Temple that he thought was very worthwhile a visit.

Well, on arrival we were given our sarongs and ties and off we went to explore. What a fabulous Temple this was, so much to see and it
seemed like a small city on the upper level. Many places to worship and such a colourful, interesting place. The views of the countryside were great from
here too and we spent quite a lot of time, walking, looking and taking pics. The staircase down was just spectacular and we enjoyed it all. There of
course were shops on the street level and we managed to bargain for some table cloths and runners..great place!!

Well, after a long visit time to go back to Kuta and the drive was lovely as we got to see lots of everyday sights along the way, Just
seeing the Balinese people going about their everyday tasks is fascinating and to add to that we saw celebrations and many offerings along the roadsides!!
