The Mews

According to the brochure this is one of the finest working stables in existence and interestingly enough The Mews Staff are the ones who provide all the transport needs for the Royal Family. They live on site and have quarters here around a very large center courtyard. There are many coaches here on display, and we were most interested in the one from Australia.

The Coronation Coach was incredible and the weight of it amazing. No wonder it takes so many horses to pull it!

The Stables had each horse's name in their stalls and it was very airy and well looked after.
