Queen's Gallery

The Queen's Gallery was our first stop here and we were so impressed with the art and its presentation. Headphones were essential as the Gallery had so many beautiful pieces that we had only seen in books but to see them in the original painting was just amazing. The size of some of them was an eye opener and one wonders how painters from long ago managed to create such incredible works of art. There were different rooms to wander through, The Green Room and The Red Room amongst others and the atmosphere here just made the visit so special. We took away a visual history of times long ago and will appreciate artists and their works for a long time to come.
