Edinburgh Tattoo
Tonight, a highlight of the trip, The Military Tattoo. We joined the many people milling up the Royal Mile and the evening was still light at that point. Being shown to our seats was quite easy as the staff were very organized. Around 8pm the show begins with a piper coming out of the castle. From there it is a just a complete spectacle!!! Amazing, the sounds, the costumes, the background of the castle all help to establish the mood and enjoyment of the many spectators. The castle lit up looks awesome and the images flashed up on it fabulous! The Military Groups taking part are specially chosen to represent their country and the whole show is a delight. Certainly, it comes to an end very quickly and its time to leave..
