Universal Studios

What a great day! The weather was lovely, little breeze and we were off to catch the train to go to Universal Studios in Singapore. We caught the MTR to Sentosa Island and bought tickets to go on the Monorail which took us across the river. Found the ticket office, and began our exciting day at Universal studios. It was very similar to Movie World in Queensland and so really we have a good idea of where to go and where to find things. Marilyn Monroe was just on the road as we walked in and some of the cartoon characters there as well. We walked on and we headed for the 4D movie Shrek which was fantastic complete with moving chairs etc!!. Next we were off to see Waterworld which quite exciting too with lots of noise, action and smoke!. We looked at all the wonderful kids attractions and saw many children having a fantastic time! Then it was time to go and watch the Monster Musical. This was a fantastic show, just rock music and the costumes and dancing and singing was absolutely fantastic. After a quick lunch at the sci-fi area we headed for the Sound Stage where the sign said that we would learn how they do all the sound effects for the movies. After a little bit more exploring we decided we probably had enough as it was a very big day and so back along the Harbourfront to the Vivo City complex where the MTR station was to go on home. After another trip right back to our hotel it was time to relax by the pool with our friends!!
