Another adventure today as we crossed the border into North Wales. Our roadtrip took us through Snowdonia, The highest mountain in Wales,
Snowdon is located here and the area is well known for the National Park which is about 838 square miles. Beautiful country, very picturesque and
it wasn't too long before we arrived at Betws-y-Coed, a small village with shops and a nice park. Back on the coach after some free time
we drove over LLanberis Pass, very high, mountainous and lots of streams all indicative of a glacial area. It was raining lots on this leg
of our journey but the views made up for the weather.

Caernarvon is a Royal town in Gwynedd, Northwest wales1. It was raining very heavily here so we headed for the nearest coffee shop or bakery
to escape the weather. Caernarvon Castle is a highlight right in the centre of town but the weather was against us so we had to be content ot see it
from the outside. Leaving here we passed Britannia Bridge as we travelled on and we were able to take photos from the coach of a small island with lovely houses built
on it. Just another quick sight of something special as we motored along. Next was an awesome visit to The Isle of Angelsey to take photos and explore the tongue twisting
"Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch", the home of the longest placename in the world. We were met by a
lovely Welsh lass who welcomed us and pronounced the name as she knew we all had no chance of doing so! A lovely visit here to see the station and buy souvenirs to show
we had actually visited this special place.

Time then to drive to Holyhead to catch a Stena Line ferry to Dun Laoghaire (Dublin) in Ireland. The ferry was named Ulysses and took three
hours and twenty minutes to reach our destination in calm waters. The car/coach ferry itself was very large and had many huge public areas that were very
comfortable as well as sleeping accomodation for those that needed it. Great trip!
