Wellington

Wellington, the capital of New Zealand was our next stop and so off the ship to explore. Lots of culture and history abounds here as the National Library, Theatres and the famous Te Papa Museum Tongarewa can be found here. A visit to this Museum is a must as the history of New Zealand is on show and beautifully presented. The surrounds of the harbour area are a delight and many Maori carvings give us an insight to the history. The Circa Theatre is very prominent and looks quite inspiring, and a walk around the streets of Wellington show the charatcter of this wonderful city.
